to Global Warming Solutions

Skokie, IL February 6, 2007 – Tecta America Corp., the nation’s largest roofing company, today announced its participation as a sponsor in Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet, a public art exhibition which will premier along Lake Michigan in Chicago, beginning June, 2007.

Tecta America’s CEO, Mark Santacrose said, “Tecta America is extremely proud to help sponsor this important exhibit which will educate and inform the public about various solutions to global warming. Tecta’s globe will depict green roofs as just one solution to global warming, in a city that has been instrumental in the adoption and support of this emerging green roof technology for sustainability.”

Cool Globes, in partnership with the Field Museum and the City of Chicago Department of Environment, showcases Chicago’s leadership as one of the country’s “greenest” big cities. The summer-long exhibit will display more than 70 five-foot-in-diameter globes designed by local and internationally renowned artists, each depicting an environmentally important message and potential solution for global warming. Tecta America’s globe, depicting green roofs, will be designed by Chicago artist, Carol Luc.
